Whitby Lake Pin-up Girl - September 4, 2013

     This past Wednesday afternoon, my friend Jessica (who's modelling page is here and Tumblr page is here -- go check them out!!) and I meandered on over to the lake shore in Whitby in her adorable little Smart Car to shoot these awesome pin-up girl inspired photographs. For those of you interested in a little fun fact: Jess wore this superman themed ensemble to this year's FanExpo in Toronto...that was just one of the days she went. Her other (BETTER!) costume will be featured on the blog soon, hopefully within the next couple of weeks!
     I think this might be my favourite photo shoot yet! I'm a sucker for vintage things, so this captured the essence of that style that I love on film! Or rather, on my memory card. Technology...gotta keep up with the times.

Fishing at Lock 35, Fenelon Falls - August 11, 2013

     Hello, hello! This is a very delayed post, as it's August 19th today and I took these on the 11th. I went fishing at Lock 35 in Fenelon Falls last Sunday with my mum and brother, Alexander. The forest-y pictures are taken at Lock 35, also; there's a wooden area right off the lock with this narrow path running through it (as you can see in the photos below). Once you exit out of the opposite side, there's a wide expanse of flat grassy area, with the forest to your left and a narrow stretch of trees to the right, with the lake directly beside it. Beautiful!! FYI, there's a selfie of me hidden amongst the vintage filtered photos. Not exactly photography, but I thought I'd stick it in there. :-)
